Success Stories

The HOPE Suicide Prevention Line was founded in response to heartbreaking stories of individuals in crisis. One pivotal case involved a young woman who, feeling betrayed by her boyfriend and isolated by her family because of her depressed condition, was found near the clinic in distress and filled with suicide thoughts. This encounter motivated the CEO to create a support system for those facing similar challenges.

Another inspiring story came from a young man who experienced systemic barriers to mental health care. His frustration with hospitals prioritizing profit over genuine help highlighted the urgent need for accessible mental health resources in Vietnam. Both the story characters are now overcoming their issues, thanks to PV. The girl is currently living and working in Saigon with her husband and kids while the boy is now part of a soccer team, and found a new job. These experiences catalyzed the establishment of the suicide hotline, offering compassionate, and reliable support to individuals in need.
